Michael Mone Jr. ’90
Michael Mone Jr. ’90, a partner at the Boston law firm Esdaile, Barrett, Jacobs & Mone, was recently inducted as a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the preeminent trial lawyer organization in North America.
Mone was inducted at the College’s annual meeting in Rome, Italy, where he was asked
to speak on behalf of his fellow inductees. In his remarks, Mone gave thanks to the
数以百计的 lawyers who helped mentor him and his co-inductees during their legal careers.
The College is composed of 5,800 of the best trial lawyers across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Fellowship in the College is extended by invitation, after careful investigation, to those experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality.
An attorney over the past 25 years practicing in all areas of civil litigation, Mone specializes in medical malpractice, motor vehicle, construction, premises, and products 责任. He has been involved in some of the largest verdicts and settlements in 麻萨诸塞州. He devotes a significant portion of his practice to representing lawyers and doctors in professional malpractice and disciplinary claims. For 10 years, Mone also represented detainees held at Guantánamo Bay on a pro bono basis.
A government major at Skidmore, Mone earned his law degree at Boston College Law School. He and his wife, Aimee Mone ’90, live in Melrose, Mass., with their two twenty-something 孩子们.
